Explaining the Gloriously Awful Step Brothers Prestige Worldwide Dale Doback Jersey
If you haven't been following along, the underlying foundation of PopFelix is not products, it's art.
Each product is a piece of art, carefully designed by an artist with his own, unique style. No one here expects every product to sell, that's not the point, the objective.
One of the best examples of art over sales is the hilariously awful Step Brothers Prestige Worldwide Dale Doback sports jersey.
Explaining it is simple, Felix tried to imagine what a jersey designed by Dale and his step bro Brennan Huff might look like.
Of course, they'd want a big ass dragon on the front with Prestige Worldwide in a Japanese-style font - a nod to Brennan's Randy Jackson autographed samurai sword. No doubt they'd also add a boat anchor on the right sleeve.
The colors and style exemplify their complete lack of design skills. They'd just pick colors and patterns they thought were cool, and they don't have to match, of course.
Finally, the brothers would find it hilarious to use number #69, thinking that they were the only ones in on the joke.
Ok, now take a moment to try and imagine Dale playing the drums wearing the PW jersey. Does it work? On brand?
We think so.
